Is Alfie on his way back?
It has been no secret that Rochdale are interested in Stockport forward Adam Le Fondre bt as yet County manager Jim Gannon has held onto him. Le Fondre played 7 times for Rochdale whilst on loan scoring an impressive 4 times. He scored twice on his debut in the 5-0 thumping of MK Dons and went on to took away a couple more penalties. Le Fondre was reported to have fallen out with Jim Gannon after an argument at an away game saw Le Fondre left behind by the team coach. Gannon has stated that there is no bad feelings towards each other but Le Fondre has struggles to break into County's starting line up on a regular basis. Le Fondre returned to County to Rochdale's disapointment a week short of the initial terms but Gannon used the 24 hour recall in the contract. Le Fondre scored on his return as County drew 3-3 with Hartlepool but then was sub when Rochdale won 7-2 at Edgely Park.

Fantastic Gesture From Kit Man Jack
I was horrifyed to hear that a supposed Rochdale fan travelling on one of the coaches to Peterborough had stolen a shirt that was given to another Rochdale fan after the game. Jack as usual handed out a selection of shirts and lucky person got their hands of Rochdale right backs Simon Ramsden's only for it to be stolen on the way home on the supporters coach. Just as any Dale fan would be Andy Nichol was gutted when he had realised what had happened. There was an appeal on a message board but unfortunatly nobody handed themselves in. There has been some good news though, because after hearing of this Jack Northover has now given Andy's dad another shirt for his son. This fantastic gesture is well appriciated from all Rochdale Fans. It is disgusting to think that one Dale fan could do that to another Dale fan and i am just pleased that in the end Andy has got the shirt that is rightfully his. Great Work Jack. (We can all see now why Jack is the fans favourite)
Centenary Dinner a Big Success
Last Nights Dinner at the Town Hall was a big hit with plenty of former Dale legends to go with the current squad. It was a great opportunity to get the camera out and lots of pictures were taken. The evening was hailed as a huge success and the start of a great season on and off the field.
If you have any pictures of last night that you would like to have displayed on here please either e-mail me then at rochdaleafchelpdesk@yahoo.co.uk or by posting them in the forum.
